A Message From Sean
Everyone has a different reaction when they hear about child trafficking for the first time. For some they feel sad or hopeless. Some can’t believe it or simply choose not to believe it. Then there are those who feel a righteous anger boiling inside them. A raging fire that can’t be put out… I am one of those.
Who am I?
I’m just a simple man with a little farm tucked away in the Pennsylvania Appalachia’s. A man who lives his life with honor and commitment. A man raising his children with Christian values and a loving wife to fight alongside him. I’m just a blue collar worker who loves his community and building a network of men who share my values.
I believe in fighting for what’s right, standing up for the innocent and being a force against those who wish to prey on their innocence.
Why do I want to ruck 100 miles? A question most people have. Simply put, I don’t want to. I have to.
God showed me what was possible and I am willingly obedient to His command. Want has nothing to do with it. He won’t allow me to rest knowing what I know.
The truth of trafficking is incomprehensible to the average person. This is my way of helping save and protect God’s innocent children.
For me, carrying 100 pounds for 100 miles is a representation of carrying the weight of a child to safety. To seek and rescue a child in danger and to bring them back to their family.
It’s the intentional suffering for the benefit of others.
Every step is a reminder that there are children in captivity that need to be found and rescued.
So I say, here I am Lord. Send me!
